Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 October 2026
These Terms of Service govern the use of this website and the web design, development and software services provided by Adding soon (“Velk”, “we”, “us”), Adding soon, Adding soon Adding soon, Greece, VAT Adding soon, Business Registry No. Adding soon.
1. Scope
These terms apply to every quote, order and project unless we agree otherwise in writing. A signed proposal or statement of work (“Proposal”) takes priority over these terms where they differ. Your own terms only apply if we accept them in writing.
2. Quotes and contract
Prices on this website are “starting from” prices, exclude VAT and are not an offer. A contract is formed when you accept a written Proposal (by signature, email or paying the deposit). Quotes are valid for 30 days.
3. Your responsibilities
You provide content (texts, images, logos, product data), access and feedback on time and confirm that you have the rights to use everything you give us. Delays in feedback or content move the timeline accordingly. You are responsible for the legality of the content published on your website, including your own privacy policy and legal notices.
4. Scope changes and revisions
Each Proposal states the included revision rounds. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and only carried out after your approval.
5. Payment
For the "Velk Start" package: no deposit; the full amount is due when the project is finished, before the site is published on your domain (see the Design Guarantee below). For other projects, unless the Proposal says otherwise: 50% on acceptance, 50% before the site goes live. Larger projects are billed by milestone. Invoices are due within 14 days. For late payment we may charge statutory interest and suspend work or hosting after written notice. Hosting and care plans are billed yearly in advance.
5a. Design Guarantee
For the "Velk Start" package, we present a design of your website before you pay anything. The design includes the main page and the agreed key pages, and you may request one round of changes. You then decide in writing (email is enough):
- You approve the design: we continue with development, and the full amount is due when the project is finished, before the site is published on your domain.
- You do not approve it: the contract ends and you owe nothing for the design work. All rights in the rejected design remain with us, and you may not use it or have it built by anyone else.
The guarantee requires that you provide the brief and materials agreed in the Proposal and respond within 30 days of receiving the design. It does not cover third-party costs that you approved in advance and that were incurred on your behalf (such as a domain name or purchased stock photos), or work you asked for beyond the agreed design. It applies once per client and project.
6. Intellectual property
When you have paid in full, we transfer to you all usage and ownership rights in the custom design, code and content created specifically for your project. Until full payment, we keep these rights. Third-party components (open-source libraries, fonts, stock photos, plugins, platforms) remain subject to their own licences, which we will tell you about. Our general know-how, tools and reusable code libraries remain ours; you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use them as part of your project.
7. Portfolio
We may show the finished project (screenshots, a short description and a link) in our portfolio and marketing, unless you tell us in writing that you object or confidentiality is agreed. We never publish confidential information or personal data from your project.
8. Acceptance and warranty
You review the work before launch. After launch we fix, free of charge, any defects where the delivered work does not match the agreed specification, if reported within 30 days. This does not cover changes you or third parties make, new feature requests, or issues caused by third-party services, browsers or hosting outside our control. Statutory rights for consumers remain unaffected.
9. Liability
We are fully liable for damage caused by intent or gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, our total liability per project is limited to the fees you paid for that project, and we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profits or lost data, except where the law does not allow such limitation. You are responsible for keeping your own backups unless backups are part of a care plan.
10. Hosting and care plans
Hosting and care plans are yearly and paid in advance. There is no commitment beyond the current year: before each renewal we remind you, and the plan renews only if you confirm. If you stop, we hand over all files and help you move the site to another host. You may also host the site on your own server, in which case our support covers the agreed work only. Your domain is always registered in your name. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service from third-party infrastructure.
11. Data processing
If we process personal data on your behalf (for example, contact-form entries or customer data on your website), we do so only on your instructions and under a data processing agreement in line with Art. 28 GDPR, which we provide with the Proposal.
12. Confidentiality
Both parties keep confidential any non-public information received from the other, during the project and for three years after it ends.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate a project for serious breach after written notice and a 14-day period to fix it. If a project is cancelled, you pay for the work completed up to that point; any deposit covers work already done. This does not affect the Design Guarantee in section 5a.
14. Consumers
Our services are aimed at businesses. If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving reasons. If you ask us to start work during the withdrawal period, you pay for the work done until you withdraw, and the right of withdrawal ends once the service has been fully performed with your prior express consent. To withdraw, send a clear statement to hello@velk.gr. Consumers may also contact the competent consumer protection authority or ombudsman in their country for out-of-court dispute resolution.
15. Use of this website
The content of this website is protected by copyright. You may not copy it for commercial use without permission. We take care to keep information accurate but do not guarantee it is complete or up to date. We are not responsible for the content of external websites we link to.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. For business customers, the courts of Athens, Greece have exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence. If any clause is invalid, the rest remain in force.
